Recover, Heal, Love Yourself
Welcome to the Self-Love Hub. It is lovely to have you here. I hope you find this a soft place to land.
This community was created to provide inspiration and support to all those who identify as women, are on a journey of recovery, sobriety or healing and want to bring more Self-Love, Self-Compassion and Self-Care into their lives.
The Definitive Recovery Toolkit
I created this toolkit to support you in your daily life.
It has always been important to me, that we are able to access tools and resources, that enable us to implement the incredible tools of recovery (including 12 steps programmes and beyond). I have used all the resources in this toolkit and hope that they will provide some structure in the coming weeks/months.
It is my hope that this toolkit will remind you each day that you matter, your feelings are important and that you are deeply deserving of love and kindness, especially from yourself.

About Self Love Hub
The Self Love Hub is a community that was created to give daily support & encouragement, to women on a recovery pathway. It provides tools, tips and inspiration to all those, who know they want to improve their relationship with themselves.
We initially began offering support to women in recovery from addiction, alcoholism, disordered eating, trauma, grief, codependency or mental health. It has transformed into a gorgeous community for all those who are looking to take care of themselves, in a more compassionate way.
You are incredibly welcome in this online haven of kindness.
Join our community on Facebook for all the latest news and updates. As well as more information on our FREE workshops and the latest on our retreats.
(We use an inclusive definition of “woman” and “female” and we welcome trans women, genderqueer women, and non-binary people who are female-identified)
It is so lovely to welcome you here to my online home. I’m Karen Marie Johnston, champion of brilliant women, who are sober or in recovery.
Well done for getting here, you have probably been through a lot already. You may be recovering from addiction, alcoholism, disordered eating, codependency, trauma or a dysfunctional childhood.
You have probably been working your arse off, doing all the things, you are successful, a perfectionist and a high-achieving human. You’ve read ALL the books, attempted meditation and maybe been through the 12 steps (twice!).
You are miles away from where you were but you know you deserve more. You have probably been working so hard that some days, you don’t even know who you are anymore. You put your hand up for everything, not being able to say ‘NO’ even when you are exhausted. You prioritise everyone else’s needs before your own, resulting in overwhelm and resentment.
You know that spending money, scrolling on social media, excessively exercising, yo-yo dieting, or perhaps this relationship, isn’t bringing the joy you deserve, but it’s all you have left!
I get it... I really do.
